Let me share a story. We recently received a decline from Liberty Life on a 42 yr old male smoker for $300,000 20 year term. Client's insurance exam showed he had undiagnosed diabetes and high cholesterol. The case was in underwriting 99 days. That same policy rated Standard Smoker with Fidelity Life's Rapid Decision (NO EXAM) Term cost $3.10/mo LESS than Liberty's Standard Smoker rate. Fidelity's policy fee would have been fully commissionable PLUS the policy would have been ISSUED in 3 DAYS!
